One of the main draws of living in the San Juans are the outdoor recreation opportunities in Telluride, Ridgway and Ouray. Mix the beautiful scenery with a dash of Cultural goings on (music, art, museums, lectures, films, art classes, festivals) and you enjoy the recipe for Life in the San Juan Mountains.
Located in the Southwestern corner of Colorado we are a bit off the beaten path. At the end of a box canyon, down a winding road and high up in elevation. And we are fortunate to enjoy a high quality of life in these majestic mountains and valley’s we call home.
Because we are surrounded by a lot of public lands (USFS and BLM), natural topography (steep mountains) and have strict planning and zoning rules, not every inch of land gets to be developed. As such, this creates a limited inventory scenario. Limited inventory of homes and land. Which translates to real estate values holding their own.
